Dipping is by far the most efficient way to apply a conformal coating. It is the only effective way to insure even deposits of coating and uniform coverage. The most important factor influencing the results of the dip-coating application application is speed of the substrate's immersion. At Specialized Coating Services we use the Concoat Precision Dip Coater 2002.

Immersion and withdrawal speeds, depth and dwell time can all be independently controlled for a wide range of viscosities and board configurations.

In addition, a blanket of dry Argon gas can be metered over moisture-sensitive material.

Output will depend on the size of the substrate, prototype, lab or low production requirements.
